No School

We found out yesterday that Nicholas will not be attending school this year....at least at this point. They put him in the incorrect classroom, and now there are no openings in the classroom he should have been in to start with. So we wait and see if someone drops out. That's the only option at this point.

So many keep saying that it is great that he will be home another year, and in some ways, that is true. But Nicholas could really use the non-learning things that school provides....the interaction with other children his own age, running and climbing (all of the PT stuff), coloring and drawing and other art projects (all of the OT stuff). I know that having him home another year will be nice for Mommy, but school really would have been beneficial for Nicholas.
