We had a nice little family party for Nicholas on his birthday; Daddy, Mommy and Elizabeth attended. It was a Spiderman theme, so, of course, we had a Spiderman cake. The menu consisted of hot dogs and watermelon....and a few other things that Mommy threw in to round out the meal.
Friday afternoon, Grandma and Papaw Bramer came down. We had another celebration with them. Despite the rain, we were able to do a few things. They got to see Nicholas' soccer practice. (The game on Saturday was rained out.) We went to the Chapmanville Apple Butter Festival (in the rain) on Saturday. It was neat to see the local festival. Papaw Bramer's birthday had been the week before, so we had a nice birthday dinner with him on Saturday evening. Then Sunday we went to church. Monday morning everyone watched Nicholas get on the bus to school. It was a nice, fun weekend.
